There were several emotional moments throughout the night, as the band reminisced on their history together for 26 years, but there were a couple of moments that took the spotlight. Howie, who commemorated his birthday a few days before, spoke about how excited he was to celebrate in his hometown, as he wiped away tears of joy. Kevin recounted the story of how he moved from a “little redneck town” in Kentucky with only 300 dollars and worked at Disney before he joined the group.
The energy was flowing through the crowd, particularly for their old time hits such as “Incomplete,” “All I Have to Give,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” and “I Want It That Way.” The group kept the crowd in their feet for nearly the entire duration of the show, before closing out with one of their biggest jams, “Larger Than Life.” The night proved that the boys still have it 26 years later, and we’re excited to see what’s to come for the future of their career.
